Keep Calm and Keep Planning that Wedding…

Keep Calm and Keep Planning that Wedding…

For some brides-to-be, the period between announcing their engagement till the big day itself can be filled with stress, it’s a joyful time, but let’s face it, planning a wedding can sometimes throw up some challenges. Throw a pandemic and national lock-down into the mix and you have a very interesting situation!
So how can a bride-to-be get some calm in their life at this present time? We’ve pulled together some tips to get a bit of zen and keep yourself sane until the time comes to be able to press ahead and get your Wedding day finalised. There are actually a number of things you can do to relax, and make sure that you keep calm before your big day, such as…
Keep Calm and Keep Planning that Wedding
Meditation is proven to help alleviate sleep problems, weight issues, stress, blood pressure and anxiety, and there are few brides who will tell you that none of these crept up on them during their wedding planning or even just in day-to-day life! Meditation and mindfulness can help you to be aware of every little thing that you're doing, allowing you to take time out of required and to help you keep all those little details in perspective.

Practice Yoga
Whether you're the type to cry at a Disney movie or you’d like to think you are made of tougher stuff, you may be surprised at how much yoga can help you balance your emotions. If you are extra emotional, yoga can help you get through the ceremony with your mascara in place and for the emotionless, it can nurture a softer side of you that only a special day like your wedding could bring to the surface.

Keep a journal
It’s always good to let your feelings out, even if they are negative. Jot how you feel down in a book or diary and you will find that it will summon inner strength, almost as though it is taking the stress away from you physically.
Make time for ‘you’
At this moment we all have a lot of time on our hands, so be careful not to waste that time, set aside some time in the evening to have a luxurious bath. Put on a candle, lower the lights, slip your favourite music on your player and just relax in the warmth and semi-darkness. You’ll be amazed at how much this will relax you.
Connect with your Partner.
You’re going to be with them for a long time after you have been married, so start before. In fact, in this time of social distancing, you’ll get a lot more connection whether you like it or not. Connect with them, enjoy them, share your hopes, dreams and fears with them. A problem shared is also halved, so learn how to be the best friend to your best friend.
Keep Calm and Keep Planning that Wedding
The main thing is - do not lose sight of what your big day is really about. If you remember that celebrating your love and commitment in front of everyone close to you, then you won't stress over the bridesmaids dresses perfectly matching the table settings!
As always with wedding advice, it is there for ideas only, it’s always best to go with whatever suits your own personal style.
No matter what your own personal style, we know that you will find something in the Jules Bridal Jewellery collection to suit you. We have a wide selection from bracelets to headpieces, to compliment your wedding day ensemble as well as those of your bridal party.

Top trending Wedding Hair Vines This Year
Top trending Wedding Hair Vines This Year

July 30, 2021

Wedding hair vines are very on trend this year, but if you are asking yourself “What’s a wedding hair vine?”, let us explain. Wedding hair vines are long, flexible head pieces made on thin twisted wire that can be shaped to any design required to suit your hairstyle. Wedding hair vines generally don’t have any combs attached to them and can easily be pinned into your hair wherever needed. This gives them the flexibility to be worn with many different hairstyles.
So, how should you wear your wedding hair vine...
First, decide on how you will be wearing your hair; will you be wearing your hair down, in a long loose braid? Hair vines also look fantastic in half up half down hairstyles. Simply secure into the section of your hair that is pinned up, and then gentle curve down through your loose waves. If you are wearing your hair in a loose plait, the hair vine can simply be plaited into your hair as it is done.
As we mentioned hair vines are a very big trend for this year and here are our top selling wedding hair vines so far...
Gold Leaf Wedding Hair Vine
Our delicate Gold Leaf and Freshwater Pearl Headpiece, made from individual gold leaves blended with freshwater pearls and tiny diamanté crystals for a little sparkle.
The Gold Vine is a light and flexible headpiece that can be worn to the side, back or across the top of the head. It is simply attached with tiny alligator style clips hidden beneath the piece.

July 06, 2020

Whatever your mood, style, outfit or budget, there are statement earrings out there that make you happy the moment you put them on. We remember the earrings we wore on first dates and on special occasions and, let’s be honest, we can always find an excuse to treat ourselves to a new pair! When it comes to your wedding earrings, the stakes are a little higher but don’t worry, we’re here today with our top tips to help you choose the perfect pair…
Jodie Crystal Earrings
You’ll be wearing your statement earrings all say so not only do they need to be beautiful they need to be practical too. If you don’t often wear long drop earrings it might be a good idea to wear your earrings at home behind closed doors for a  few days to be sure you get on with them.
Consider any other accessories you'll be wearing or the details of your wedding dress when choosing your earrings. If your dress has embellishments, you might like to opt for earrings that coordinate with them.
Create balance
Don’t forget that your whole outfit should be balanced, if you want to wear a glamorous pair of statement earrings, don’t rush to wear lots of other accessories, alternatively if you opt for subtle wedding earrings you can then choose to wear lots of other pieces too, our Alisha, Freshwater Pearl Silver Earrings are perfect for this.
