So what will you do with your hair ?

So what will you do with your hair ?

So you're planning your wedding and all that involves, there's so much with so many details to decide upon, attention now turns to 'What are you going to do with your hair ?' It's an important question with a few things to consider, like how will the style hold up in weather if that's an issue, will a veil and or hair accessory work with the style and would it be a good idea to team a dress from a particular era with a hair style to match, like a 1940's style gown with pin curls?

We've taken a look at some hairstyles as seen on the 2018 wedding show runways as inspiration. There are a few familiar styles, low curled and tucked under styles. Neat chignons with a twist and beachy long waves a firm boho favourite.

A few new looks emerged with some very slicked down hair and ribbon bow ties making an appearance - not for every bride !
Marchesa bridal showcased big puffed hairstyles with large veils and fabric hair accessories for a pretty dramatic look. Ribbon ties attached to headpieces also featured heavily on the runway.

Another firm favourite at Jules is designer Zuhair Murad, their runway look was predominated with slicked back hairstyles and accessorised with simple crystal browbands & headbands. for sure your hair will stay put with this style.
The Carolina Herrera bridal model rocked a low looped bun which was a huge hit, a little bit more casual than the very traditional chignon.

We always recommend choosing your hairstylist well in advance, they are more in demand than most other wedding suppliers and can only do one wedding per morning ! Definitely go for at least one hair trial so there are no surprises on the morning of the wedding.
All the best
xx

Top trending Wedding Hair Vines This Year
Top trending Wedding Hair Vines This Year

July 30, 2021

Wedding hair vines are very on trend this year, but if you are asking yourself “What’s a wedding hair vine?”, let us explain. Wedding hair vines are long, flexible head pieces made on thin twisted wire that can be shaped to any design required to suit your hairstyle. Wedding hair vines generally don’t have any combs attached to them and can easily be pinned into your hair wherever needed. This gives them the flexibility to be worn with many different hairstyles.
So, how should you wear your wedding hair vine...
First, decide on how you will be wearing your hair; will you be wearing your hair down, in a long loose braid? Hair vines also look fantastic in half up half down hairstyles. Simply secure into the section of your hair that is pinned up, and then gentle curve down through your loose waves. If you are wearing your hair in a loose plait, the hair vine can simply be plaited into your hair as it is done.
As we mentioned hair vines are a very big trend for this year and here are our top selling wedding hair vines so far...

Jodie Crystal Earrings
Comfort
You’ll be wearing your statement earrings all say so not only do they need to be beautiful they need to be practical too. If you don’t often wear long drop earrings it might be a good idea to wear your earrings at home behind closed doors for a  few days to be sure you get on with them.
Coordinate
Consider any other accessories you'll be wearing or the details of your wedding dress when choosing your earrings. If your dress has embellishments, you might like to opt for earrings that coordinate with them.
Create balance
Don’t forget that your whole outfit should be balanced, if you want to wear a glamorous pair of statement earrings, don’t rush to wear lots of other accessories, alternatively if you opt for subtle wedding earrings you can then choose to wear lots of other pieces too, our Alisha, Freshwater Pearl Silver Earrings are perfect for this.
