In Greek mythology, Queen Cassiopeia was sent into the sky as punishment for boasting that she and her daughter Andromeda were more beautiful than the Nereids, Poseidon’s sea nymphs. As punishment for her vanity, the god sent her to the skis where she would be admired eternally. The constellation of Cassiopeia never sets in Ireland night skies. Its shape is distinctive and easy to see. Our designers remember this story from childhood and dedicated this Heart-shaped or W-shaped stud, composed of three delicate crystals and 925 sterling silver to her legend. This design is reversible, and can be worn with crystal studded or the metal bead studded end facing forward. This design can also be worn as body jewellery or along with special pair of earrings on special occasions.
